Alexander Kay is a licensed trauma and relationship therapist, a licensed clinical social worker. Alexander has been working in the field of acute mental illness and addiction for the past fifteen years, specializing in dual diagnoses and crisis stabilization, utilizing various modalities of psycho-therapy, such as Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral Therapies (CBT and DBT), as well as Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) in his clinical practice. Alexander is EMDR trained.

Melissa Vance, LMHC

Melissa Vance is a Licensed Mental Health Therapist with a decade of experience working in the mental health field utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to include EMDR trained, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Person Centered, Trauma focused and Motivational Interviewing. Melissa provides a judgment free, collaborative, safe space to assist every patient with overcoming whatever challenges they may be facing.

Kimberley Rodriguez, LMFT

Kimberley is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and an Addictions Counselor with over 20 years of experience. Kimberley is utilizing only evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, Interpersonal and Social Rhythm Therapies, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Systemic Family Therapy, Mindfulness and Play Therapies. Kimberley’s specialties are mood disorders (Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar), substance abuse disorders, eating disorders, grief and loss issues, anger and rage issues, ADHD/ADD as well as personality disorders. Kimberley has a unique and welcoming style which many people enjoy, she uses a person-centered approach.

Sonia Romero, LMHC

Sonia is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida. She is specializing in diagnosing and treating patients with Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, OCD, ADD/ADHD, stress, low self-esteem, and interpersonal conflicts. Sonia utilizes different approaches according to the client’s needs, using only evidence based therapeutic modality. Sonia graduated from Nova Southeastern University and is fluent in English and Spanish, she has been practicing for over 20 years. Sonia is very passionate about working with adults, adolescents, children, when she brings patience and compassion to every session.

Melissa McVan, LMHC

Melissa McVan a Licensed Mental Health Counselor provides individual therapy, couple’s therapy, and family therapy. She is available for both virtual therapy sessions and in person therapy sessions at Panda Therapy. Melissa graduated from Nova Southeastern University with her Masters in Counseling. Since 2012 she has been providing therapy as well as workshops on self-esteem, healthy relationships, and goal setting. Melissa promotes one’s personal talents, gifts, and skills. Her approach has the intention to move in the direction of a healthy outlook and overall well-being for those whom she works with. Some of Melissa’s clients have described her as both authentic and empowering.

Lucika Beaubrun, LMHC

Lucika is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with experience in both outpatient and inpatient therapy, with expertise in CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and art therapy techniques. Being originally from Haiti, Lucika brings a unique cultural perspective to our practice, blending traditional therapeutic techniques with a holistic approach that honors each person’s background and experiences. She creates a collaborative, culturally sensitive environment. Lucika loves empowering clients to navigate challenges and achieve lasting change through empathy, active listening, and creative expression. She is a dedicated therapist who brings warmth, expertise, and a multicultural perspective to her practice, empowering her clients to achieve meaningful and lasting change in their lives. In her free time, Lucika enjoys reading, eating, and traveling.

Christopher Pagliaro – Office Manager

As the Office Manager at Panda Therapy, Christopher oversees day-to-day flow at all Panda Therapy locations/offices. Originally from New York, Christopher happily relocated to South Florida in 2021. Christopher is a dedicated, family-oriented person with over twenty years of business and customer service experience. His daily goal is to make sure that every client is treated with respect and proper care. Christopher’s kind and compassionate approach to every interaction with every client, whether it’s an intake, scheduling, insurance verification process or communicating with our providers, creates a very welcoming and safe environment at Panda Therapy group practice.
